YOKOGAWA ANR11D-411/NDE

Product Introduction:
The ANR11D-411/NDE is a 4-channel universal input paperless recorder from Yokogawa’s ANR11 series. The D suffix indicates a 96 × 96 mm (1/8 DIN) square front panel. The 411 code specifies 4 universal input channels + 1 alarm output channel. The NDE suffix indicates Ethernet communication option (10/100 BASE-T). This recorder provides trend recording, alarm management, and remote monitoring via Ethernet.

Functional Features:

  • 4 universal inputs — accept any combination of TC, RTD, mA, mV, frequency, contact
  • 1 alarm relay output — configurable for any alarm condition
  • Ethernet connectivity — remote monitoring via web browser (HTTP), Modbus TCP, FTP data download
  • Trend buffer: stores up to 30 days of data at 1-second sampling
  • Event recording — timestamps all alarm events with PV value
  • Password protection — 3 access levels (viewer, operator, engineer)
  • Scaling and engineering unit display — fully configurable per channel

Material Composition:

  • Front Bezel: Polycarbonate (UL94 V-0), black
  • Rear HousingABS + PC blend, flame retardant
  • Terminal Block: Phosphor bronze, tin-plated, screw-clamp
  • PCB: FR-4, conformal coated
  • LCDFSTN monochrome, LED backlight

Structural Features:

  • 96 × 96 mm square front panel (1/8 DIN)
  • Depth behind panel: approx. 100 mm
  • Screw-clamp terminals: wire size 0.5–2.5 mm² (AWG 20–14)
  • IP66 front — dust-tight, water-jet resistant
  • LCD with button navigation on front panel

Working Principle:
Each input channel is conditioned by a dedicated signal conditioning circuit (cold-junction compensation for TC, ratiometric bridge excitation for RTD, precision shunt for mA). The conditioned signal is digitized by a 16-bit A/D converter and scaled to engineering units. Data is stored in circular buffer memory (2 MB Flash) and displayed on the LCD. Alarm conditions are evaluated in real-time and trigger the relay output. Ethernet communication uses Modbus TCP server for SCADA integration and FTP client for automated data archival.

Advantages & Highlights:

  • 4 universal inputs in compact 1/8 DIN — space-saving multi-channel recording
  • Ethernet + FTP — automated data backup without USB sticks
  • Web browser access — no special software needed for remote viewing
  • 1 alarm relay — local alarm indication without external system
  • Wide input compatibility — one recorder replaces multiple specialized units

Applicable Industries:

  • Chemical Processing (multi-temperature monitoring)
  • Power Generation (turbine, boiler monitoring)
  • HVAC (multi-zone temperature/humidity logging)
  • Water/Wastewater (pH, flow, level, pressure recording)
  • Food & Beverage (batch process recording for GMP/HACCP)
  • Pharmaceutical (21 CFR Part 11 compatible with audit trail option)

Installation Requirements:

  • Panel cutout: 92 mm × 92 mm (for 96 × 96 mm bezel with gasket)
  • Mounting depth: ≥ 100 mm behind panel
  • Ethernet cable: Cat5e or better, max. 100 m to switch/router
  • Shield input cables — ground shields at recorder end only
  • Power supply: stable 100–240 V AC or 24 V DC

Usage Precautions:

  • Do not mix input types on the same terminal — each channel has dedicated terminals
  • Thermocouple inputs require correct TC type selection — wrong type = large measurement error
  • Do not exceed 30 V DC or 250 V AC on any input terminal
  • Back up data via FTP regularly — internal memory is not infinite
  • Firmware updates via Ethernet — do not interrupt power during update
  • Reset to defaults: hold SET + ENTER for 10 seconds
