B&R 3AM374.6
Model Series: X20 System (AM = Analog Module — Input)
Product Overview:
The 3AM374.6 is a 4-channel analog input module from B&R’s X20 I/O system. It acquires analog signals (current or voltage) from field sensors such as pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, and flow meters. The module provides 12-bit resolution and supports both 4–20 mA and 0–10 V input ranges.

Process control, HVAC, water treatment, oil and gas, chemical processing, food and beverage, pharmaceutical.
Installation Requirements:
- Mount on DIN rail TS 35 (7.5 mm module width)
- Connect to X20 bus via RJ45 daisy-chain
- 24 V DC power via X20 bus — no external power required
- For 4–20 mA: connect transmitter in series with internal 250 Ω shunt
- For 0–10 V: connect sensor output to differential input terminals
- Use shielded twisted-pair cable for all analog signals
Usage Notes:
- Do not apply voltage exceeding 12 V DC to voltage input terminals
- For 4–20 mA: ensure loop power supply voltage is sufficient (min 18 V DC + sensor drop)
- Calibrate zero and span via Automation Studio for each channel
- Shield ground must be connected at controller end only (single-point grounding)
