Working Principle​

Incremental encoder A/B pulses are counted with selectable quadrature decoding, reference pulse performs homing, position/speed result is passed to PLC, and ±10 V output provides external analog feedback.

Installation Requirements​

Insert into compatible B&R controller or I/O rack

Use shielded encoder cable

Separate encoder ground from power ground as required

Usage Notes​

Keep encoder cables away from power cables.

Set counting direction and resolution in Automation Studio.

Wrong reference-pulse wiring causes homing error.
