Display window: FSTN LCD panel with backlight
PCB: multilayer FR4 control board
Power connector: insulated pluggable terminal with metal contacts
Structural Characteristics:
Narrow CX power module format for stacked installation
Front LCD, navigation keys and PWR LED
Rear PC/104 interface for CPU and system module connection
5-pin open power connector for 24 V DC input wiring
Working Principle:
The module converts external 24 V DC into regulated internal bus power and distributes it over PC/104 to the CPU and expansion modules. The microcontroller-driven LCD and navigation switches present system status; NOVRAM stores values through power interruptions; the PWR LED reflects normal or short-circuit supply conditions.
Installation Requirements:
Mount directly beneath or according to the CX10x0 CPU stack configuration
Use 24 V DC with a 4 A fuse or Class 2 compliant power supply for UL requirements
Tighten the 5-pin power connector to the specified wire size and torque
Ensure PC/104 mating without forced insertion
Usage Precautions:
Check PWR LED behavior; red indication denotes short-circuit condition
Do not apply K-bus or E-bus terminals directly to CX1100-0001 because it has no bus coupler
Avoid moisture, condensation and conductive dust in the cabinet
Backup NOVRAM-relevant data before replacing the module
