Yokogawa NFCP100-SS3
Product Introduction:
The NFCP100-SS3 is a compact flow computer designed for custody transfer, energy measurement, and process flow totalization. It accepts inputs from flowmeters (pulse, 4-20 mA, frequency), temperature sensors (RTD, TC), and pressure transmitters to compute compensated mass/volumetric flow, totalized flow, and energy content. The “SS3” suffix denotes the specific input/output and communication configuration.
Detailed content
Working Principle:
The NFCP100 collects raw flow signals from primary flow elements (orifice plate, venturi, Coriolis, turbine, etc.) along with temperature and pressure inputs. It applies industry-standard compensation algorithms (AGA, ISO, ASME) to calculate compensated flow rate. Energy calculation is performed by multiplying compensated mass flow by enthalpy values derived from steam tables or gas equations of state. All computed values are available via analog outputs, pulse outputs, and digital communication.
