Working Principle:
The DX1043 samples all 4 input channels every 0.2 seconds. A 16-bit ADC converts analog signals to digital values. The microprocessor processes the data, applies linearization (for TC/RTD), and stores it in flash memory. The LCD displays real-time trends, bar graphs, and numerical values. Alarm logic continuously compares input values against user-set limits. When a limit is violated, the corresponding relay closes. Data is transmitted via Modbus RTU or Ethernet to SCADA/DCS systems.

Advantages & Highlights:

  • Replaces mechanical chart recorders with zero consumable cost
  • Universal input reduces spare parts inventory
  • Event recording with 10 ms resolution captures fast transient events
  • Compact panel-mount design fits existing chart recorder cutouts
  • Ethernet connectivity enables remote monitoring and data retrieval

Applicable Industries:

  • Chemical and petrochemical plants
  • Oil refineries
  • Power generation and distribution
  • Water treatment facilities
  • Pulp and paper mills
  • Steel and metal processing

Installation Requirements:

  • Install in a control room or panel with ambient temperature 0–55°C
  • Leave 25 mm clearance on top and sides for heat dissipation
  • Use twisted-pair shielded cable for TC inputs; 3-wire connection for RTD
  • Ground the chassis to the plant earth ground
  • Configure the input type for each channel in the setup menu before connecting signals

Usage Precautions:

  • Do not exceed the maximum input voltage of 30 V DC on current input terminals
  • Do not apply voltage to the recorder when the terminal cover is removed
  • Perform a zero-point check after initial installation
  • Back up recorded data at least once per month
  • Do not use organic solvents to clean the front panel (use mild detergent and water only)
