  • 50 ms ultra-fast scan — captures rapid process changes
  • 4 universal inputs with independent scaling per channel
  • 1 alarm relay with configurable high/low/deviation setpoints
  • RS-422/RS-485 dual communication for daisy-chain or point-to-point connection

  • Ultra-slim 1/16 DIN form factor — the smallest in the ALR series
  • Color TFT LCD display with high visibility
  • Snap-in front bezel with IP65 sealing
  • Rear terminal block for all I/O connections

Working Principle:
The recorder samples all 4 input channels every 50 ms. Each sample is converted by a 16-bit A/D converter, scaled to engineering units, and stored in circular buffer memory. The alarm comparator continuously evaluates each channel against user-defined setpoints. When an alarm condition is detected, the relay output changes state. Data is transmitted via RS-422 (multi-drop) or RS-485 (multi-drop/point-to-point) using Modbus RTU or Yokogawa proprietary protocol.

Advantages & Highlights:

  • 50 ms scan speed — fastest in the ALR series, ideal for fast transient capture
  • 1/16 DIN size — fits in extremely space-constrained panels
  • Dual serial ports (RS-422 + RS-485) — maximum communication flexibility
  • 24 VDC power — standard industrial DC supply, no AC required

Applicable Industries:

  • Semiconductor manufacturing
  • Laboratory and R&D
  • Compact OEM machinery
  • Pharmaceutical batch monitoring
  • Environmental monitoring stations

Installation Requirements:

  • Cut panel opening to 45 mm × 92 mm for 1/16 DIN mounting
  • Use 24 VDC regulated power supply (ripple < 5%)
  • For RS-485, terminate the last device with 120 Ω resistor
  • For TC inputs, use extension-grade thermocouple wire

Usage Precautions:

  • Do not exceed 24 VDC ±10% on the power input
  • Do not apply voltage signals directly to mA input terminals (will damage the module)
  • Configure the correct input type (TC, RTD, mV, V, mA) for each channel before applying signals
  • Perform calibration using precision sources at least annually
