Working Principle
The switching ASIC forwards frames at wire speed. The controller executes the Layer 2 protocol stack, redundancy protocols, security rules, and management functions. DIP switches configure ring role without full software setup.
Installation Requirements
Mount on 35 mm DIN rail.
Provide redundant 24 VDC or 48 VDC where high availability is required.
Separate signal and power cabling for EMC performance.
Confirm wide-temperature model for outdoor or cabin environments.
Usage Notes
Set master/coupler roles carefully.
Do not create loops without STP/Turbo Ring enabled.
Use relay outputs for SCADA alarm supervision.
Back up configuration after commissioning.
Verify DIP switch position before replacing a unit.
