Siemens 6SN1111-0AA00-0DA1

Product Overview
Passive reactive component used on the line side of servo drive, inverter or active line systems to limit harmonic current, smooth switching transients and support DC-bus stability. Public sources classify the same order number differently, so confirm the exact system family from nameplate, firmware label and host drive documentation.

Functional Features
Reduces line-current harmonics and limits di/dt transients.
Improves EMC performance and protects power semiconductors.
Supports stable DC-bus voltage for servo or inverter load.
Screw-terminal or drive-system connections according to product variant.
Application Scenarios
SINAMICS S120 line modules and active/smart line configurations where the order number appears as line reactor.
SIMODRIVE 611 infeed or regenerative configurations where the order number appears as power/infeed module.
Retrofit of legacy servo cabinets requiring line filtering or controlled DC supply.
Performance Parameters
Reactor variant: rated current, power loss and inductance selected for line voltage, drive rating and harmonic limit.
Infeed variant: rated AC input, DC-bus output, charging control and braking/resistor interface according to SIMODRIVE system.
Cooling: self-cooled, forced-air or cabinet cooling according to installed variant.
Material And Structure
Copper or aluminum winding on laminated or molded core for reactor versions.
Steel enclosure or open-frame reactor construction according to rating.
Busbar, terminal block, control connector and heat sink for infeed/module versions.
Working Principle
As a reactor, the unit adds series inductance between supply and converter. It opposes rapid current change, reduces harmonic content and limits inrush. As an infeed module, the unit rectifies or controls three-phase AC, manages DC-bus precharge and supplies regulated DC to power stages.
Installation Requirements
Verify whether the delivered unit is reactor, line-filter or infeed module before wiring.
Keep reactor-to-converter cables short; shielded cables recommended for some SINAMICS configurations.
Maintain manufacturer clearance around magnetic components to avoid field coupling.
Ensure conductor cross-section matches rated current, terminal type and ambient derating.
Usage Precautions
Do not assume one power rating for all 6SN1111-0AA00-0DA1 stocks; confirm label and system manual.
Check cooling method, IP rating and cabinet temperature before commissioning.
For infeed use, verify DC-bus voltage, grounding and regenerative resistor compatibility.
For reactor use, confirm inductance, current and harmonic standard with the converter manufacturer.
