Motor overload, overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent and short-circuit protection.
Adjustable acceleration and deceleration times.
Optional external braking resistor or built-in braking function depending on system design.
Application Scenarios
Small conveyors, mixers, pumps, fans, packaging machines, textile machines and general constant-torque retrofits.
Performance Parameters
Output frequency range configured for 0 to 650 Hz in related MICROMASTER vector documentation.
PWM output synthesized from DC bus for variable voltage and frequency.
High starting torque in sensorless vector mode without encoder.
Material And Structure
Plastic-clad industrial enclosure for cabinet use.
Power rectifier stage, DC bus, IGBT inverter stage, control PCB and terminal blocks.
Top/bottom or specified terminal access according to mounting variant.
Working Principle
AC input is rectified to DC, smoothed by the DC bus, then switched by IGBTs into adjustable-frequency three-phase output. The control unit regulates voltage/frequency ratio or vector current to control motor speed and torque.
Installation Requirements
Mount vertically inside an IP20 or higher control cabinet.
Leave top and bottom ventilation clearance for heat dissipation.
Use shielded motor cable and separate power cables from signal cables.
Connect protective earth properly.
Add external EMC filter if site compliance requires filtering.
Usage Precautions
Do not operate above 50 °C ambient without derating.
Unfiltered version may require external EMC filter for electromagnetic compliance.
Confirm motor current, voltage and overload profile before commissioning.
Avoid moisture, dust accumulation and poor ventilation in cabinet.
