MAC 24F33-0-4-R-S

Product Name
MAC 24 Series compact 4-way solenoid pilot spool valve, 24F33-0-4-R-S configuration.
Product Introduction
24F33-0-4-R-S belongs to the MAC 24 Series of 10 mm solenoid-piloted 4-way spool valves. The series is built for compact automation requiring high flow relative to size, repeatable shifting, and stable performance under supply-pressure variation.

Detailed content

Technical Specifications
Valve family: 24 Series, 4-way spool.
Maximum Cv: 0.4.
Port sizes: #10-32, M5, or M7 depending on ordered body.
Configuration: inline or manifold, plug-in/non-plug-in.
Pilot: 8 mm E-pilot with oval armature, solenoid operated.
Media: compressed air, inert gas, vacuum with external pilot option.
Internal pilot pressure: approximately 2.3 bar to 8 bar for spring-return single solenoid; 1.3 bar to 8 bar for double solenoid air-reset configurations.
Filtration: 40 µm minimum, non-lubricated operation acceptable.
Electrical: configurable coil voltage; common 24 VDC, 12 VDC, 110 VAC, 220 VAC per ordering code.
Temperature: -10°C to 60°C standard.
Functional Features
Balanced pilot design for repeatable shift force.
Response time independent of inlet-pressure fluctuation.
High flow for 10 mm valve body.
Plug-in or standalone manifold mounting.
UL, CSA, CE, RoHS compliance on qualified variants.
Material Composition and Structure
Anodized aluminum/spool body, stainless and engineered polymer seals, copper-coil solenoid with epoxy encapsulation, plug-in or non-plug-in manifold interface. Compact 10 mm footprint with 8 mm pilot cartridge.
Working Principle
The solenoid pilot pressurizes one end of the main spool. The balanced spool shifts to route supply and exhaust ports in a 4-way path. De-energizing or energizing the opposite coil shifts the spool to the alternate position; spring or air return defines fail-state behavior.
Installation Requirements
Mount on clean compressed-air supply filtered to 40 µm. Choose inline or manifold base matching port thread. Torque fittings to MAC specification. Provide correct coil voltage and polarity for DC coils. Allow ventilation space for solenoid heat dissipation.
Usage Notes
Verify Cv and port size against actuator flow demand. Do not operate above rated pressure for the selected pilot option. Use external pilot for vacuum or very low supply pressure. Inspect seals and spool periodically in high-cycle applications.
