Honeywell 80363969-150

Product Name: 16-Channel 4–20 mA Analog Output Module for TDC 3000 HPM
Introduction: This module is a high-performance analog output processor designed for the TDC 3000 History and Process Manager (HPM) distributed control system. It converts digital control signals from the controller into precise 4–20 mA current-loop outputs that drive control valves, positioners, actuators, and other field devices.

Features: Delivers precise current-loop signals for closed-loop process control. Built-in self-diagnostics, channel fault detection, and front-panel status LEDs. Galvanic isolation between channels and backplane. UCN system bus interface for Experion PKS racks.
Applications: Process-industry closed-loop control, including control-valve actuation, damper positioning, and variable-speed drive setpoint commands in oil & gas, chemical, power, and manufacturing plants.
Working Principle: The controller sends digital output values over the UCN/backplane. An on-board D/A converter transforms each value into a proportional 4–20 mA current. The output stage is galvanically isolated and current-limited to protect both the module and the field wiring.
Installation Requirements: Install in a standard Experion PKS or TDC 3000 I/O rack slot. Match the corresponding FTA termination assembly for field wiring. Configure the output range per channel through the Honeywell engineering station. Ensure the 24 VDC backplane supply is present before powering the rack.
Precautions: Do not exceed the specified loop load. Observe polarity when terminating field wiring. Keep the module within the rated temperature and humidity envelope. Use only with the correct FTA to avoid mismatched signal conditioning.
