  • Overload protection per channel
  • Over-temperature protection
  • Diagnostic LED per channel
  • Software-configurable Active HIGH / Active LOW

  • DIN rail mounting (TS 35)
  • Plug-in terminal connectors with spring clamps
  • ABS plastic housing
  • Front-facing LED status indicators (16 channels)
  • X20 bus connector on bottom edge

Working Principle:
The controller writes digital states to the module via the X20 bus. Each output channel is controlled by an NPN transistor in a PNP sourcing configuration. When the controller sets a bit to “1”, the transistor conducts, connecting the 24 V DC supply to the output terminal. When set to “0”, the transistor is off. Each channel includes an electronic fuse for short-circuit protection. Optocouplers provide galvanic isolation between channels and the bus.

Advantages & Highlights:

  • 16 channels in compact X20 format
  • 0.5 A per channel handles standard solenoid valves and small relays
  • Electronic fuse provides fast fault response
  • PNP sourcing is standard in European automation
  • LED diagnostics simplify maintenance

Applicable Industries:

  • Valve control in process plants
  • Indicator and signal lamp control
  • Relay and contactor switching
  • General discrete output in machine builders
  • Conveyor and sorting system actuation

Installation Requirements:

  • Mount on DIN rail (TS 35 x 7.5 or TS 35 x 15)
  • Connect to X20 base module or X20 system bus
  • Wire PNP loads: connect +24 V to load, load to output terminal, 0 V to power supply return
  • Use flyback diodes across inductive loads (relays, solenoids)
  • Wire gauge: minimum 0.5 mm² for 0.5 A per channel

Usage Precautions:

  • Do not exceed 0.5 A per channel or 4 A total module current
  • Always use flyback diodes for inductive loads
  • Do not apply external voltage to output terminals
  • Verify Active HIGH / Active LOW setting matches load wiring
