Working Principle​

The connected B&R controller or system unit sends video data to the TFT panel through the Automation Panel Link or direct interface. The resistive touch layer detects pressure position, the serial touch controller converts the analog signal into digital coordinates, and the controller returns touch data to the automation system for HMI processing.

Installation Requirements​

Prepare cabinet cutout matching 279 mm width and 191 mm height.

Mount the panel flush and secure according to B&R AP1000 mounting instructions.

Install a compatible link module, system unit or PPC controller before applying signal power.

Use only B&R approved panel link cables and connectors.

Ensure rear compartment remains within IP20 conditions when the link module is fitted.

Usage Notes​

Clean the touch surface with a soft non-abrasive cloth.

Avoid sharp objects that can damage the resistive layer.

Do not operate the front panel under direct high-pressure water; IP65 applies to the front only.

Recalibrate touch through the B&R panel configuration software after replacement.
