Working Principle:
The BM5030-SW20-00 is a switch-mode power supply (SMPS) using high-frequency PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) topology. AC input is rectified and filtered, then switched at 65 kHz by MOSFET transistors through a high-frequency transformer. The secondary side is rectified and filtered to produce stable 24 V DC output. Active PFC (Boost Converter Stage) shapes the input current to follow the input voltage waveform, achieving PF ≥ 0.99. The output voltage is regulated by a feedback loop controlling the PWM duty cycle. Protection circuits continuously monitor output current, voltage, and internal temperature, shutting down the converter if any parameter exceeds safe limits.
