Atlas Copco TC-52P-P
Model Series: TC-52 Series (Dual-Channel Peak Torque Grade)
Product Overview:
The TC-52P-P is a dual-channel peak torque controller where both channels share the 1–52 Nm range. The “P-P” designation confirms two independent peak torque outputs, enabling dual-step or dual-axis fastening from a single compact unit.
Detailed content

- Independent teach-in per channel
- Sequential or simultaneous operation mode
- Per-channel LED pass/fail indication
- Total cycle counter
- Buzzer on completion of both channels
Structural Characteristics:
- Housing: PA66-GF30, 140 x 90 x 50 mm
- Dual 4-digit LED displays
- 6 membrane buttons (3 per channel)
- Two M12 8-pin screwdriver connectors
- DIN rail clip included
Material Composition:
- Housing: PA66-GF30
- PCB: FR-4 with conformal coating
- Connectors: PBT, gold-plated
- Mounting: Stainless steel AISI 304 clip
Working Principle:
Channel A and Channel B each independently monitor torque from their respective screwdrivers. In sequential mode, Channel A completes first, then Channel B fires. In simultaneous mode, both channels operate in parallel. Each channel cuts its tool power upon reaching its individual peak torque setpoint.
Key Advantages:
- Two fastening points controlled by one unit — reduces hardware count
- Enables two-step tightening (e.g., pre-torque + final torque) on a single joint
- Cost savings versus two separate TC-52P units
- Compact dual-channel design
Applicable Industries:
Automotive interior trim, Electronic chassis assembly, Pump assembly, Valve assembly
Installation Requirements:
- DIN rail or panel mount
- 24 V DC, minimum 3 A (dual channel)
- Two M12 8-pin cables (max. 3 m each)
- 50 mm separation from VFD/welding equipment
Usage Precautions:
- Calibrate each channel independently — do not assume symmetry
- Do not exceed 52 Nm on either channel
- Verify both channels before each production run
- Clean both M12 connectors weekly in dusty environments
