Atlas Copco PF4000-G-PN-HW
Product Series: PF4000 Series — Generator-Equipped Heavy-Duty Compressor
Product Introduction: The PF4000-G-PN-HW delivers the highest air output (40 m³/min) in the PF range combined with a 275 kVA integrated generator. The “PN” designation indicates the Power Normal configuration — a balanced power package optimized for simultaneous compressor and generator operation at rated capacity. The “HW” suffix confirms high-altitude capability.

Material Composition:
- Chassis: S460 high-strength steel, hot-dip galvanized
- Generator Stator: 100% copper, Class H insulation, IP23 protection
- Airend: ZR 400 with chrome-plated rotors
- Exhaust System: Stainless steel with DOC + DPF + SCR after-treatment
Structural Features:
- Heavy-duty single-axle with dual-wheel option
- 4 hydraulic stabilizer legs with load sensors
- Sound-attenuated dual-canopy design
- Integrated circuit breaker distribution box
- CO emission monitoring port
Working Principle: The Cummins QSK19 engine provides 370 kW to simultaneously drive the ZR 400 airend and the 275 kVA generator. The PN (Power Normal) package is engineered so both compressor and generator can operate at full rated capacity concurrently without derating. Air is compressed in the oil-injected screw airend, cooled via water-cooled aftercooler, and delivered at constant pressure.
Key Advantages:
- Full 40 m³/min + 275 kVA simultaneous output — no derating
- PN package specifically balanced for dual full-load operation
- Largest fuel tank in class (800L) for maximum autonomy
- HW-rated for high-altitude mining operations
Applicable Industries: Major mining, tunnel construction, large-scale civil works, offshore support, power generation support
Installation Requirements:
- Ground bearing capacity ≥ 18 tonnes/m²
- 4m clearance on all sides
- 400V 3-phase 50Hz supply for control system
- Adequate ventilation — minimum 10m³/min fresh air for engine combustion
Usage Precautions:
- Monitor engine coolant temperature — do not exceed 95°C
- SCR urea (AdBlue) tank requires refilling every 100–150 hours
- Oil change: every 500 hours using Atlas Copco Roto-Inject Fluid
- Generator load must not exceed 220 kW continuous
