Working Principle:
The 115 kW IE3 electric motor drives the oil-injected rotary screw air end at fixed speed (2,970 rpm). Air enters the air end, is compressed with injected oil for sealing and cooling, then passes through the oil separator (removing 99.97% of oil). Compressed air flows through the integrated refrigerated dryer (cooling air to +3°C dew point), then through the coalescing filter (removing oil aerosols to < 0.01 mg/m³) and particulate filter (1 μm) before delivery at 8 bar. The Elektronikon Basic controller manages start/stop based on 8 bar setpoint with a 2 bar load/unload band.

Usage Notes:

  • Oil change every 4,000 hours or annually (whichever comes first) — use Atlas Copco Roto-Inject Fluid
  • Coalescing filter element: replace every 4,000 hours
  • Particulate filter element: replace every 8,000 hours
  • Refrigerant dryer service annually — check refrigerant charge and clean condenser coils
  • Do not operate below 5°C (41°F) without crankcase heater (optional accessory)
