Product Classification: Centrifugal drain pump for AEG washing machines and dishwashers

Detailed content

Technical Specifications:

  • Pump Type: Centrifugal, single-stage
  • Rated Voltage: 220–240V AC / 50Hz
  • Rated Power: 30W (typical) / 60W (maximum)
  • Flow Rate: 1.2 m³/h (max)
  • Maximum Head: 0.85m (8.5 kPa)
  • Hose Connection: 19mm internal diameter barbed outlet
  • Inlet Connection: Push-fit 25mm (dishwasher) / 28mm (washing machine)
  • Noise Level: ≤ 55 dB(A)
  • Operating Temperature: 0°C to +90°C (fluid)
  • Dimensions: 120mm × 85mm × 95mm (approximate)
  • Weight: 0.65 kg

Material Composition:

  • Pump Housing: Glass-fiber reinforced polypropylene (GF30)
  • Impeller: Polypropylene, dynamically balanced
  • Shaft: Stainless steel AISI 303
  • Mechanical Seal: Carbon/Silicon Carbide face seal
  • Motor Windings: Copper enamel wire, Class B insulation
  • Gaskets: EPDM rubber

Structural Features:

  • Snap-fit mounting bracket for secure chassis attachment
  • Built-in non-return valve (flap type) to prevent backflow
  • Debris filter basket at inlet (removable, mesh size 1.5mm)
  • Vibration-dampening rubber feet (4-point)
  • Quick-disconnect electrical connector (2-pin)

Working Principle: The AC motor drives the impeller at approximately 2800 RPM, creating centrifugal force that draws water from the appliance tub through the inlet filter, accelerates it radially outward through the volute chamber, and discharges it through the 19mm outlet hose. The non-return valve prevents water from flowing back into the tub when the pump is off.

Advantages:

  • Self-priming up to 0.5m suction head
  • Debris filter protects impeller from lint, coins, and small objects
  • Low power consumption at 30W average draw
  • Universal mounting fits multiple AEG appliance models

Applicable Industries: AEG front-loading washing machines, AEG dishwashers, AEG washer-dryers

Installation Requirements:

  • Mount pump at lowest point of appliance base frame
  • Outlet hose must slope downward minimum 1% toward drain point
  • Maximum vertical lift: 85cm from pump outlet to drain connection
  • Electrical connection via 2-pin connector — verify polarity (L/N)

Usage Precautions:

  • Clean debris filter before every wash cycle
  • Do not operate pump dry — causes seal damage within 30 seconds
  • If pump runs continuously without water flow, disconnect power immediately — risk of motor burnout
  • Replace pump if noise increases significantly or flow rate drops
