Function: Provides the pivot axis for the washing machine door. The door rotates around this pin during opening and closing. The PTFE bushing ensures smooth, quiet operation with minimal friction and zero lubrication requirement.

Working Principle: Door is mounted on the pin — the outer end connects to the door frame via a hinge bracket, the inner end sits in the PTFE bushing fixed to the machine front panel. Spring-loaded clip retains the pin in position.

Load Rating: Supports door weight up to 8 kg (typical glass door assembly)

Installation Requirements:

• Remove old pin using 8 mm hex key / Allen wrench
• Press out old bushing using bushing puller tool
• Press in new PTFE bushing flush with panel surface
• Insert pin, secure with circlip pliers
• Verify door opens and closes smoothly — no binding or excessive play

Usage Notes:

• Inspect pin and bushing every 2 years
• If door sags or does not stay closed, this part is the first component to check
• Do not use grease or oil on PTFE bushing — it is self-lubricating
• Replace both pin and bushing as a matched set
