Working Principle:
The input signal is amplified by a precision instrumentation amplifier (AD620) with gain set by an external resistor (or internal DIP-selected gain network). The amplified signal is then isolated via an isolation amplifier (AD202) and converted to the selected output range (0–10 V or 4–20 mA) using a voltage-to-current converter (XTR115 or equivalent).
Key Advantages:
- Ultra-high accuracy (± 0.1% FS) for precision measurement
- Programmable gain (1–1000) covers all common sensor types
- 1500 V DC isolation for safe signal transmission
- Zero and span trimmers for field calibration
Applicable Industries:
Laboratory instrumentation, precision weighing, strain gauge measurement, temperature monitoring (RTD/TC), pressure transducers.
Installation Requirements:
- Mount on 35 mm DIN rail
- Set DIP switches for correct gain and output range before connecting
- Use shielded twisted-pair cable for mV-level inputs
- Calibrate zero offset using on-board trimmer before commissioning
Usage Precautions:
- Do not apply input voltage exceeding 5 V DC to mV input range
- For mV inputs, use 3-wire connection to cancel lead resistance
- Do not exceed 1500 V DC between input and output (isolation limit)
- Recalibrate annually or after any mechanical shock
