Installation Requirements:

  • Requires full drum removal from machine
  • Use bearing puller tool (AEG 1108719001) for safe extraction
  • Press new bearing onto shaft using hydraulic press — do not hammer
  • Replace both bearings simultaneously — never replace only one
  • Inspect drum spider and shaft for scoring before installation

Usage Notes:

  • If drum spider shows cracks, replace entire drum assembly — do not reuse with new bearings
  • Verify drum spins freely by hand after reassembly before connecting belt
  • Run an empty spin cycle at 1,400 RPM after installation — listen for abnormal noise
  • Do not exceed 1,600 RPM — higher speeds void bearing warranty
