YUKEN AME-D-10-100-20

Brand and Model
YUKEN AME-D-10-100-20, AME-D proportional hydraulic series.
Product Name
Proportional pressure control valve or proportional valve driver according to system configuration; the code 10-100-20 is commonly interpreted as NG10 size, 100 L/min rating and 20 MPa maximum pressure, while YUKEN also uses AME-D amplifier cards for proportional solenoids.

Detailed content

Overview
The device provides proportional, stepless pressure or flow control in hydraulic systems. As a valve, it modulates relief or pressure-compensation action by solenoid command. As an AME-D amplifier configuration, it converts 0 to 10 V or 4 to 20 mA command into regulated solenoid current.
Technical Specifications
Valve Interpretation: NG10 / CETOP 10, rated flow about 100 L/min, maximum pressure 20 MPa.
Amplifier Interpretation: 24 VDC supply for many AME-D cards, 0 to 10 V or 4 to 20 mA input, output matched to 10 ohm or 40 ohm proportional coils according to the specific submodel.
Control Current: proportional solenoid drive, commonly up to 0.7 A for valve coils or 1.0 to 1.5 A for amplifier cards depending on coil resistance.
Response: millisecond-class solenoid response; valve step response depends on flow and oil conditions.
Fluid Temperature: -10 to +60°C for typical industrial hydraulic use.
Viscosity: approximately 10 to 400 cSt with recommended filtration.
Functional Features
Smooth proportional pressure adjustment without stepping.
Dither compensation to reduce spool stick-slip.
Short-circuit, overcurrent and overload protection on amplifier versions.
Panel or DIN-rail mounting for electronic driver versions.
Modular valve mounting on standard subplates.
Application Scenarios
Hydraulic presses and injection-molding machines.
Metal-forming and die-casting systems.
CNC machine tool hydraulic feeds.
Industrial power units and proportional pressure stations.
Material and Structure
Valve body in anodized aluminum alloy or equivalent hydraulic steel according to submodel.
Spool in chrome-plated, lapped steel.
Solenoid with copper coil and wet-armature design.
NBR seals as standard, FKM optional.
Amplifier housing in flame-retardant plastic or metal cabinet enclosure with screw terminals.
Working Principle
Command voltage or current is compared with feedback from the solenoid or spool position. The electronic stage generates a regulated solenoid current; the solenoid force moves the spool against spring bias, changing orifice area and thereby controlling system pressure or flow. Dither is superimposed to keep the spool responsive.
Installation Requirements
Mount the valve on the correct NG10 subplate with matched P, T, A, B ports.
For amplifiers, use shielded control cable and separate signal wires from power wires.
Install 10 micron or finer filtration upstream of proportional valves.
Set zero, gain and ramp only after full mechanical wiring and hydraulic fill.
Usage Precautions
Do not exceed 20 MPa valve rating or the amplifier coil-current rating.
Verify coil resistance before selecting AME-D amplifier variant.
Avoid moisture, excessive vibration and uncontrolled cabinet heat.
Check solenoid polarity and earth grounding before first energization.
