Technical Specifications & Features: As an LQ3 valve, it shares the same core design as the 9908-027 LQ3 valve, including 4–20 mA command and feedback signals, 18–32 VDC driver power, brushless DC motor with integrated metering valve, shear-type self-cleaning metering, and non-contact resolver position feedback.
Performance Parameters: Flow range 100 to 22,000 lb/h (45 to 9,979 kg/h), maximum fuel inlet pressure 1,400 psig (9,653 kPa), rated metering differential pressure 50 psid (345 kPa) nominal, full-stroke slew rate < 0.100 sec, shut-off slew rate < 50 ms, accuracy ±5% of nominal flow or ±0.5% of maximum rated flow.
Materials & Construction: High-strength aluminum alloy valve body (stainless steel for marine), hardened stainless steel EDM-machined metering rotary plate, finned aluminum motor housing, rare-earth permanent magnet rotor, FKM elastomer seals, stainless steel internal fasteners.
Working Principle: 4–20 mA command from the control system is converted by the driver to brushless DC motor current, positioning the rotary metering plate.
Applications: Industrial and aeroderivative gas turbine liquid fuel metering, power generation, mechanical drive, marine propulsion, and CHP fuel systems.
