Materials & Structure: The valve body and wetted components use corrosion-resistant materials or anti-corrosion treatment; seals are FKM fluoro-carbon rubber suitable for a wide range of liquid fuels. The overall structure is a rotary-plate metering design integrating a Limited-Angle Torque motor, frameless resolver feedback, and optional PIV/SOV mounting interfaces.
Working Principle: The drive unit receives a 4–20 mA position command and, through closed-loop control, drives the limited-angle torque motor to rotate the rotary plate, changing the metering port area. The patented single-stage droop-compensated differential pressure regulator holds the metering-port ΔP at approx. 345 kPa (50 psid), so that output flow is governed solely by port area, achieving precise metering.
Installation Requirements: Must be used with a positive-displacement fuel pump—not compatible with other pump types. Fix the valve to a rigid foundation via standard mounting holes; orient for ease of maintenance. Electrical connection is made through a single terminal block; use shielded cable between driver and valve body. Wear hearing protection on-site.
Usage Precautions: Fuel must be filtered to ≤20 µm with water content ≤0.1% by volume. Regularly check electrical-connection tightness and cable-shield integrity. Avoid long-term operation outside the specified temperature envelope. Before maintenance, cut fuel supply and confirm the system is depressurized.
