Application Scenarios: Governs speed and load sharing for prime movers (diesel engines, gas engines, turbines) in generator systems; applicable in industrial power generation, marine auxiliary power, and offshore/onshore compressor stations.
Working Principle: The 2301A provides control in either isochronous or droop mode. In isochronous mode, it maintains constant prime mover speed for single-prime-mover operation, two or more prime movers on an isolated bus, or base loading against an infinite bus. In droop mode, speed control is a function of load for single-prime-mover operation on an infinite bus or parallel operation of multiple prime movers. The control compares actual speed (from MPU signal) against the reference and drives the actuator accordingly.
