Telemecanique 9007CR61B2
Product Name
Telemecanique 9007CR61B2 Heavy-Duty Rotary Limit Switch, Hazardous-Location Box
Product Overview
This is a metal-body heavy-duty limit switch from the Schneider Electric Telemecanique 9007 series. It converts rotary mechanical motion into electrical control signals using a spring-return rotary head without a preinstalled operating lever.

Functional Features
The rotary head returns to neutral without external reset after the actuator force is removed. The double-break contacts open both poles for each direction. The metal enclosure resists dust, splash, temporary immersion, and hazardous-gas environments. Screw terminals accept solid or stranded field conductors.
Application Scenarios
Machine tools, material-handling equipment, hoists, valve actuators, plastic and rubber machinery, printing presses, conveyors, and process skids requiring position feedback in harsh or classified areas.
Material And Structure
The body uses metal with epoxy powder coating. The head uses zinc alloy spring-return mechanics. The contact block uses silver snap-action elements. The conduit hub uses NPT-threaded metal fittings for hazardous-location conduit systems.
Working Principle
A cam or machine lug rotates the head within the preset travel angle. The spring-return mechanism moves the internal snap-action contacts when the trip angle is reached. The NO and NC poles change state to send position, limit, or safety-interlock signals to the controller.
Installation Requirements
Install by qualified electrical personnel. Use 1/2-14 NPT conduit with proper sealing fittings for hazardous locations. Torque conductors to the screw-clamp specification and use AWG 22 to AWG 12 copper. Select lever, roller, or cam accessories according to the required actuation direction.
Usage Precautions
Do not exceed 600 V insulation rating or the stated operational current per voltage. Verify cam speed limits when levers are added; high-speed cams can exceed head rating. Inspect spring return and contact wear in high-cycle applications. Follow local hazardous-area wiring rules for conduit seals and grounding.
