SQUARE D CLE-202001
Product Name
CLE-202001 Class 8410 AC current transducer
Product Introduction
CLE-202001 is an analog AC current transducer for Square D Class 8410 instrumentation systems. It scales current-transformer signals into isolated low-level DC output for meters, recorders and PLC analog inputs in switchgear and motor control applications.
Detailed content
Technical Specifications
Input range 0 to 5 A AC, output range 0 to 1 mA DC, galvanic isolation between input, output and auxiliary circuits, accuracy ±0.5% of full scale, response time up to 400 ms to 90% of final value, DIN-rail or panel-surface mounting, black thermoplastic enclosure, operating temperature 0 to 60°C.
Functional Features
Linear current scaling, electrical isolation, analog metering compatibility, legacy switchgear replacement, stable output under reference conditions, simple screw-terminal wiring.
Application Scenarios
Low-voltage switchboards, motor control centers, generator paralleling panels, load monitoring systems, retrofit of obsolete analog instrumentation loops and PLC AC current acquisition.
Performance Parameters
Proportional 0 to 5 A AC input to 0 to 1 mA DC output, full-scale accuracy ±0.5%, isolation barrier for primary bus protection, repeatable calibration across the rated temperature range.
Material Composition
High-impact industrial thermoplastic housing, copper alloy terminal inserts, internal transformer/conditioning circuit, isolation components and calibration elements.
Structural Features
Compact transducer body, DIN or panel mounting base, molded terminal compartment, isolated input/output sections, identification label for catalog 8410-CLE-202001.
Working Principle
The AC current from the external current transformer enters the transducer, is scaled and rectified by the internal conditioning circuit, electrically isolated from the output section, and converted into a proportional low-level DC signal for downstream measurement equipment.
Installation Requirements
Mount on a 35 mm DIN rail or rigid panel surface, connect the CT secondary to the input terminals with correct polarity, route the DC output to the meter or PLC analog input, provide shield grounding at a single reference point, verify CT ratio before energization.
