REXROTH CLC-D02
Product Name
CLC-D02 Indramat CLC-series motion controller module
Product Introduction
CLC-D02 is a plug-in motion control card for Bosch Rexroth Indramat servo systems. It executes interpolation, positioning and multi-axis coordination tasks, then distributes command data to servo drives through serial links or fiber-optic SERCOS interfaces.
Detailed content
Technical Specifications
Processor architecture for real-time motion calculation, serial communication RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485, fiber-optic SERCOS interface with 640 to 675 nm wavelength, battery-backed RAM for parameter retention, baud rates up to 38.4 kbps on RS-232 and up to 9.6 kbps on long-distance RS-422/RS-485, operating temperature 0 to 55°C, module weight approximately 0.32 kg.
Functional Features
Multi-axis interpolation, coordinated motion programming, host communication, fault diagnostics, parameter backup, LED status indication, DIP and software configuration for baud rate and bus mode.
Application Scenarios
Machine tools, printing machines, packaging lines, special-purpose automation systems and Indramat DDS/DIAX04 servo racks requiring centralized motion command processing.
Performance Parameters
High-speed trajectory calculation, stable multi-task scheduling, closed-loop position and speed control when paired with compatible servo drives, battery service life approximately 3 to 4 years at 25°C.
Material Composition
Printed circuit board with surface-mount logic components, metal/electromagnetic shielding sections, 3 V lithium button-cell backup battery, connector contacts with anti-corrosion plating.
Structural Features
Rack plug-in card format, front-panel LEDs, serial and SERCOS connectors, backplane drive interface, battery holder, DIP configuration elements, labeled test points.
Working Principle
The controller receives motion commands from the host or higher-level PLC, calculates interpolation and axis setpoints, transmits digital commands through SERCOS or serial communication, receives feedback from servo drives, and closes the position/speed loop through the drive rack.
Installation Requirements
Insert the module into the designated DDS/DIAX04 controller slot, seat it fully in the backplane, connect SERCOS fiber or serial cable before power-up, configure baud rate and bus address, verify battery installation and CPU compatibility.
