MORITEX APS-DD-2

Product Name
Dual-channel LED machine-vision lighting controller.
Overview
The APS-DD-2 supplies stabilized voltage or controlled current to machine-vision LED lights. It provides two independent channels for continuous or programmed illumination, improving image uniformity and reducing brightness drift in automated inspection systems.

Detailed content

Technical Specifications
Input Voltage: 24 VDC ±10%.

Output Voltage: up to 24 V per channel for the constant-voltage APS-D/D-2 configuration.
Output Current: 1.25 A maximum per channel; total maximum depends on model, 1.25 A total for APS-D/D-2B or higher aggregate for other APS-D variants.
Output Power: up to 30 W aggregate for supported dual-channel models.
Control: channel intensity adjustment; certain APS variants add external control, constant-current or programmable modes.
Mounting: DIN rail or panel mount.
Operating Temperature: 0 to 45°C.
Humidity: non-condensing, reduced specification at higher temperature.
Weight: approximately 450 g for APS-D/D-2B.
Functional Features
Independent brightness setting for two LED banks.
Constant-voltage or constant-current operation according to model variant.
Natural convection cooling in compact industrial enclosure.
Compatible with MCV-Light and similar 24 V machine-vision LED units.
Status indication and protection against overcurrent or output fault according to variant.
Application Scenarios
PCB inspection and solder-defect imaging.
Packaging, labeling and barcode verification.
Line-scan and area-scan lighting control.
Laboratory vision benches and industrial AOI enclosures.
Material and Structure
Metal or industrial polymer enclosure according to variant.
Screw or connector terminals for 24 V input and LED loads.
Internal switched-mode power stage with filtering.
DIN/clip base and front adjustment elements.
Working Principle
The controller regulates DC input into stable channel outputs. In constant-voltage mode it fixes LED supply within tolerance; in constant-current or strobe-capable variants it regulates current and can follow external trigger timing. Feedback maintains set intensity despite load and temperature changes.
Installation Requirements
Use 24 VDC regulated supply sized for total LED wattage.
Mount on DIN rail or panel with airflow clearance.
Match connector polarity and per-channel current rating of the LED head.
Separate LED power cables from sensitive signal cables where practical.
Usage Precautions
Do not exceed 1.25 A per channel or the total power rating of the specific variant.
Verify whether the unit requires constant-voltage, constant-current or external-trigger mode before connection.
Keep the enclosure away from high-heat drives and sealed without ventilation.
Replace or service immediately if overcurrent protection trips repeatedly.
