Moog D661-5205 Pilot-Operated Servovalve

  • Product Introduction: The D661-5205 is a pilot-operated servo valve for analog signals, which belongs to the D661 series of Moog. It adopts a new type of ServoJet pilot stage, which improves the dynamic characteristics of the entire valve. The internal flow channel design of the large-flow valve greatly increases the rated flow of the valve. The spool position is electrically fed back by a displacement sensor, and the built-in electronic amplifier realizes closed-loop control of the spool displacement.

  • Technical Specifications: It complies with ISO 4401 size 05 and is a two-stage valve with a sturdy ServoJet pilot valve. The rated flow rate is 20 to 200 l/min (5.3 to 53 gpm) at 35 bar (500 psi) pressure drop per land. The maximum flow rate is 250 l/min (65 gpm) (when the second T-port is connected). The maximum operating pressure is 350 bar (5000 psi). The installation mode complies with ISO 4401 size 05. The 100% step response time is 6.5 to 14 ms at 210 bar (3000 psi). The supply voltage is 24 VDC (18 to 32 VDC), and the rated signal options include +/- 10 V, +/- 10 mA, 4 – 20 mA.

The fault insurance (Fail-Safe) function can ensure that the machine and equipment are in a safe position in case of unexpected power failure. It has low leakage, no pilot stage internal leakage, so the power consumption is low, especially suitable for multi-valve control systems. The permanent magnet linear force motor outputs twice the driving force of the electromagnet, and can maintain long-term and constant use. The dynamic response is high and has nothing to do with the system pressure.
