Structural Characteristics

  1. Rectangular flat stator coil unit with symmetrical M6 mounting hole array for rigid connection to moving carriage platform
  2. Separated primary stator and secondary magnet track layout; non-contact electromagnetic force transmission without mechanical friction wear
  3. Internal coil full vacuum epoxy impregnation to enhance vibration resistance, moisture insulation and heat conduction efficiency
  4. Dedicated external linear scale mounting groove reserved on stator side face for magnetic scale fixed installation
  5. Single M23 combined three-phase power connector integrated on stator end face for wiring simplification

Working Principle

  1. AKD-P servo drive outputs three-phase variable frequency sine wave alternating current to SR series stator coil windings to generate traveling electromagnetic magnetic field
  2. Secondary magnetic track fixed on machine base provides fixed permanent magnet magnetic field; traveling magnetic field generates continuous linear electromagnetic thrust pulling stator unit to perform straight reciprocating motion
  3. External linear absolute magnetic scale collects real-time linear position signal and transmits digital position data back to servo drive closed-loop control system
  4. PTC thermal sensor embedded inside stator coil converts winding temperature change into resistance variation signal for drive real-time thermal protection monitoring
  5. Optimized silicon steel lamination magnetic circuit design weakens magnetic cogging effect to maintain stable uniform thrust output across full travel stroke

Advantage Highlights

  1. Direct linear drive removes intermediate mechanical transmission parts, eliminates backlash and mechanical wear failure points, reducing equipment maintenance frequency
  2. Segmented magnet track structure realizes unlimited linear stroke, applicable to long-distance automated production lines
  3. High thrust density iron-core design occupies smaller mechanical installation space compared to coreless linear motors under identical load requirements
  4. Zero mechanical friction transmission structure enables ultra-fast dynamic acceleration response above 10 g
  5. Modular multi-stator parallel expansion design can flexibly adjust total system thrust according to equipment load demand

Applicable Industries

Heavy-duty lithium battery electrode coating production lines, automated warehouse long-distance gantry transport axes, metal plate laser cutting large stroke positioning platforms, automotive stamping press feeding equipment, solar panel large-format cutting machinery, aerospace component precision linear test benches, glass substrate handling automation lines

Installation Requirements

  1. Magnet track mounting base flatness tolerance ≤ 0.02 mm per meter length; uneven track surface causes uneven air gap and thrust fluctuation
  2. Fixed air gap between stator coil and magnet track strictly maintained at 1.2 mm ±0.1 mm; air gap deviation directly reduces output thrust
  3. M6 stator mounting screw tightening torque controlled at 6 N·m to ensure rigid connection without carriage vibration during high-speed movement
  4. Linear magnetic scale must be installed parallel to magnet track with parallelism tolerance ≤ 0.01 mm per meter stroke
  5. M23 power connector cable must use Kollmorgen certified shielded single cable assembly, cable shield fully grounded at cabinet side

Operation & Maintenance Precautions

  1. Strictly prevent metal abrasive dust, iron filings and cutting fluid from entering the air gap between stator and magnet track; metal debris causes magnetic short-circuit and permanent magnet demagnetization
  2. Do not apply external mechanical impact load on stator coil housing; impact deforms silicon steel core and damages internal winding insulation
  3. Ambient air must maintain non-condensing relative humidity between 5%–85%; condensation inside stator housing triggers winding short-circuit failure
  4. Inspect magnet track surface every 3 months to clean accumulated dust and foreign particles in air gap
  5. Avoid long-term continuous operation above +40 °C ambient temperature without auxiliary forced air cooling fan; overheat accelerates permanent magnet irreversible demagnetization
