Kollmorgen SR10000-Y006

Product Introduction:
SR10000-Y006 is a mid-power 3-phase brushless servo amplifier from the SERVOSTAR SR10000 line, intended for 230/400 VAC-class motors up to roughly 3.6 kVA output. It is an analog-command, resolver/encoder-feedback drive with no fieldbus; external PLC or motion controller issues ±10 V velocity/torque command.

Detailed content

Technical Specifications:
  • Input: 140 VDC / 310 VDC bus equivalent → from 230 VAC / 400 VAC 3Φ
  • Input current: 14 A max
  • Input apparent power: 1.96 kVA (230 V class) / 4.34 kVA (400 V class)
  • Output: 115 VAC / 230 VAC equivalent 3Φ
  • Output current: 10 A continuous
  • Output apparent power: 1.6 kVA / 3.6 kVA
  • Feedback: 2-pole resolver or incremental encoder
  • Command input: ±10 V analog velocity or torque
  • Protection: IP20, over-current / over-temp / DC-bus over-voltage
  • Mount: Panel/cabinet, screw-fixed
Functional Features:
  • Transistor PWM power stage with tacho or resolver commutation
  • Adjustable PI gains via internal potentiometers and DIP switches
  • External regenerative resistor terminal
  • Enable, fault-reset, and ready relay contacts
Material & Structure:
  • Folded-steel enclosure with rear heatsink fins
  • Internal DC-link capacitors, IGBT bridge, control transformer
  • Front connector deck for power, motor, feedback, analog I/O
Working Principle:
3-phase mains rectified to DC link; IGBT bridge generates variable-frequency 3-phase output; rotor angle from resolver drives electronic commutator; outer loop closed by host controller analog command.
Application Scenarios:
Obsolete machine-tool axes, test-stand actuators, extruder feeds, paper converting lines built before 2005.
Installation Requirements:
  • Install in grounded enclosure with forced air if ambient exceeds 40 °C
  • DC-bus and motor cables must be separate from feedback
  • Regenerative resistor mounted outside enclosure with thermal cutoff
Usage Notes:
No STO, no network safety. Replace with S300/S700 or AKD2G in new designs. Verify Y006 option code against existing machine drawings before swap.
