Kollmorgen S70602-NANANA-NA

Product Description:
The S70602-NANANA-NA is a high-performance digital single-axis servo drive from Kollmorgen’s S700 series. It accepts 208–480 VAC 3-phase input and delivers 6 A RMS continuous / 18 A RMS peak output current. The “NANANA” suffix indicates no option cards installed in the three expansion slots—onboard EtherCAT and CANopen are standard. It is designed for complex motion tasks requiring high dynamic response, autotuning, and multi-feedback support.

Application Scenarios:
Packaging machines, printing presses, semiconductor back-end equipment, CNC auxiliary axes, robotic joints, lab automation.
Construction & Working Principle:
PWM IGBT inverter converts DC bus voltage (from 3-phase rectified AC input) to variable-frequency 3-phase output for the servo motor. A 32-bit DSP executes fast current/speed/position loops. Feedback signals are processed at high speed for closed-loop control. STO disconnects power-stage gate drives upon safety trigger.
Installation Requirements:
  • Mount vertically in a control cabinet with ≥50 mm top/bottom clearance for airflow.
  • Ensure proper grounding (PE) per local electrical code.
  • Use ferrules on wire ends; torque terminals to spec.
  • Provide 24 VDC control supply before enabling mains power.
Precautions:
  • Do NOT operate without proper earth ground.
  • Verify motor inductance compatibility (typical 3 … 200 mH @ 320 VDC bus).
  • Disable STO jumpers only after confirming machine safety design.
  • Allow fan exhaust path—do not block ventilation openings.
