Kollmorgen S61401-PB
Product Introduction:
The S61401-PB is a member of Kollmorgen’s SERVOSTAR 600 series, designed as a compact single-axis servo amplifier for medium-power industrial automation. It converts control signals into precise three-phase motor currents using Space Vector Modulation (SVM) and supports multiple feedback and communication protocols.

Integrated braking control circuitry
Working Principle:
Receives position/speed/torque commands from a PLC or motion controller via fieldbus or analog/pulse interfaces, processes them through a digital current loop, and generates SVM-modulated three-phase PWM output to drive brushless servo motors with high precision.
Installation Requirements:
-
Install inside a grounded control cabinet with adequate clearance for airflow
-
Ensure proper separation from high-noise power lines
-
Use correctly sized fusing and external regenerative resistors if required
Usage Precautions:
-
Do not exceed rated bus voltage (up to 675 VDC link typical)
-
Verify motor inductance and current match before commissioning
-
Perform autotuning only with the load mechanically safe
