Kollmorgen S61400-550O
Product Series: Kollmorgen SERVOSTAR S600 Family (Predecessor to AKD)
Product Brief: Digitally controlled 3-phase PWM servo amplifier for brushless PMSM, asynchronous AC, DC brush motors. S61400 = 14 Arms continuous / 28 A peak, 240–480 VAC 3Φ input. “-550O” is a custom factory-suffix denoting a specific OEM configuration, which may include non-standard I/O mapping, custom firmware, or a special connector arrangement. The base S614 unit supports resolver, incremental encoder, SinCos, EnDat, and BiSS feedback. Compatible with AKM series motors — auto motor ID from AKM connector.
Detailed content

Protection Class: IP20
Operating Temperature: 0 °C to +40 °C (full rated); derating to +55 °C
Certifications: CE, UL, cULus, TÜV
Applicable Industries: Mid-to-large converting winders, printing press inking/damping drives, packaging form-fill-seal main axes, textile take-up
Installation Requirements: Vertical panel mount in grounded enclosure; 3Φ supply via line filter + contactor; PE bond; connect 24 V logic before mains; fit external regen resistor if application > 10 % regen duty.
Usage Notes: S600 is mature/legacy — AKD/AKD2G are successors; autotuning available via WorkBench (S300/S600/S700 version); no STO onboard unless STO option ordered — implement via contactor if required; backup parameters to PC before firmware changes.
