S403AM-CA is a compact digital servo drive from the legacy ServoStar 400 series, designed for low-to-medium power industrial automation axes under 115/230VAC single-phase power input. Fully programmable motion controller integrated within drive hardware, supporting standalone motion sequence execution without external PLC, widely deployed on older generation packaging, textile, and CNC machinery as original factory matching drive unit.

Working Mechanism
Single-phase AC mains rectified to fixed DC bus voltage, DSP digital control chip executes vector FOC control algorithm to output three-phase modulated AC for servo motor driving. Motion tasks pre-programmed via RS232 Kollmorgen setup software stored in non-volatile flash memory; drive executes positioning, velocity profiling, and electronic cam motion autonomously upon digital trigger input from machine sensors.
