Function Features

  1. Full-wave rectification to generate isolated DC bus for single ServoStar S drive
  2. Integrated passive regenerative braking resistor to consume motor deceleration energy
  3. Onboard 24V auxiliary power supply, eliminates separate external control power adapter
  4. Input surge suppression circuit, withstand 2000V grid voltage surge
  5. Basic protection functions: overvoltage, overcurrent, overheat, input phase loss
  6. Standard DIN rail vertical mounting compatible with standard electrical cabinet rails

Performance Parameters

  • DC bus voltage stability error: ±1% full load variation
  • Auxiliary 24V output ripple: ≤50mVpp
  • Operating efficiency: ≥92% at rated load

Material Composition

  • Housing: Cold rolled steel sheet electrostatic powder coating
  • Heat Dissipation Component: Extruded aluminum fin heat sink
  • Power Rectifier Bridge: Silicon diode full bridge module
  • Braking Resistor: Wire-wound ceramic high-power resistor

Structural Characteristics

  1. DIN rail quick-mount design for rapid cabinet installation
  2. Left side AC input terminal block, right side DC bus output terminal for servo drive connection
  3. Front panel power indicator LED and overheat fault alarm LED
  4. Internal independent air cooling channel with fixed silent cooling fan

Working Principle

  1. AC grid input filtered and sent to full-wave rectifier bridge
  2. Rectifier converts alternating current to fixed 325V DC bus voltage stored in internal high-capacity electrolytic capacitors
  3. DC bus power transmitted to matched S series servo amplifier power terminal
  4. During motor rapid deceleration, regenerative energy flows back to DC bus; excess energy dissipated via internal 112W braking resistor
  5. Built-in isolated transformer converts partial rectified power to stabilized 24V DC for drive control circuit power supply

Advantage Highlights

  1. All-in-one rectifier + braking resistance + auxiliary control power supply, reduces cabinet component count
  2. DIN rail compact design occupies minimal cabinet installation space
  3. Plug-and-play matching for S406BA-PBr and other S series small-power drives
  4. Low maintenance passive braking resistor design, no external braking hardware required

Applicable Industries

Small single-axis automation equipment, laboratory precision positioning stages, labeling machinery, small textile processing machines

Installation Requirements

  1. Standard 35mm DIN rail vertical mounting, no horizontal installation allowed
  2. Vertical clearance above and below module ≥30mm for ventilation
  3. Maintain ≥15mm horizontal gap between adjacent DIN rail power modules

Usage Precautions

  1. Maximum continuous braking duty cycle limited to 10% operating time
  2. If frequent high-load deceleration occurs, external high-power braking resistor must be added
  3. Avoid installing adjacent to heat-generating components like contactors and relays
  4. Internal fan dust cleaning every 4 months to prevent overheat protection trigger
