Working Principle:
Optical multi-turn encoder uses a glass code disc with absolute position tracks. A multi-turn counter (gear-driven or Wiegand wire) tracks full revolutions. Light from an LED array passes through the code disc to a photodiode array, generating absolute position data transmitted via EnDat 2.2 or BiSS-C protocol.
