  • Applications:​ Vertical lifts, press ram, spindle decel, high-inertia stop-and-go.
  • Construction:​ Identical mechanical package with brake terminal block added.
  • Installation Notes:​ Size brake resistor if duty exceeds internal chopper capacity; bond resistor to grounded metal.
  • Precautions:​ Do not short brake terminals to DC bus; verify B-option before assuming external resistor omitted.

Cross-cutting notes
  • AKD/S700/S620 drives pair only with correct voltage class motors; AKM13C and TT/TF DC motors are not directly interchangeable.
  • All drives: IP20, control-cabinet only, 0–40/55 °C depending on series, 24 VDC logic isolated from power.
  • Legacy DC motors (TTB, TF, DC00D…) require DC PWM or SCR amplifiers, not AC servo drives.
