Kollmorgen CVC600 18446-13A

Product Name: CVC600 Compact Vehicle Controller (AGV/AMR Controller)
Product Introduction:
CVC600 is Kollmorgen’s compact 32-bit RISC vehicle controller for AGVs and AMRs, not a servo axis drive. 18446-13A is the hardware/firmware revision label. It runs Linux, manages navigation, fleet comms and I/O, and interfaces to servo drives over CAN/RS.

Detailed content

Technical Specifications:
  • Supply: 24–48 VDC (reverse-polarity protected)
  • Power Dissipation: ≤5 W typical
  • Processor: 32-bit RISC
  • OS: Linux
  • Dimensions: 125×50×195 mm (W×H×D)
  • Protection: IP65
  • Comms: WLAN, LAN, CAN, RS232/422/485
  • Navigation: laser, magnetic tape, inductive wire, natural feature
  • Operating Temp: -20 to +55 °C
  • Vibration/Dust/Humidity: industrial AGV grade
Functional Features:
  • Open architecture programmable controller
  • Onboard safety supervision for vehicle motion
  • Interfaces to AKD/S700 axis drives via CAN/EtherCAT gateway
  • Fleet manager link over WLAN/LAN
Working Principle:
Autonomous vehicle supervisor: reads navigation sensors, computes path, sends velocity setpoints to axle servo drives, supervises I/O and safety contacts.
Structure & Materials:
Cast aluminum/coated steel rugged housing, conformal-coated PCB, industrial connectors.
Installation Requirements:
Mount on vibration-isolated plate in AGV mast or chassis, 24–48 VDC from battery with TVS, antenna outside metal enclosure.
Usage Notes:
Not a servo amplifier—needs downstream AKD/S700 for motor power; firmware 18446-13A pairs with specific NDC8/NDC9 fleet stack.
