Construction & Materials:

  • Housing: Die-cast aluminum, IP65-rated with gasket seal
  • Motor Stator: Laminated silicon steel (0.35 mm laminations)
  • Rotor: NdFeB magnets, carbon-fiber sleeve retention
  • Shaft: Hardened stainless steel, 28 mm diameter, with keyway
  • Bearings: Angular contact ball bearings (preloaded, sealed)
  • Drive Electronics: Conformal-coated PCB, IGBT power stage, IP20 internal

Working Principle:
The integrated drive receives 3-phase AC power and converts it to DC bus. The servo controller executes current/velocity/position loops internally and drives the motor with sinusoidal PWM at 16 kHz. The absolute encoder provides position feedback directly to the on-board controller.

Advantages:

  • All-in-one design — eliminates separate drive cabinet, reduces wiring by 80%
  • IP65 rating — suitable for washdown and dusty environments
  • Absolute encoder — no homing required after power loss
  • Integrated brake — holds load without external brake resistor
  • Compact footprint — saves panel space compared to separate motor + drive

Applicable Industries:
Food & beverage (washdown), packaging, printing, textile, metalworking, material handling, robotics

Installation Requirements:

  • Mount with 4× M10 bolts through front flange
  • Align shaft to load within 0.05 mm TIR
  • Connect 3-phase power (L1, L2, L3, PE) — do not exceed 480 VAC
  • Connect EtherCAT cable (shielded CAT5e, max 100 m)
  • Provide 24 VDC for brake and logic (if external supply is used)

Usage Notes:

  • Do not disassemble the housing — drive electronics are not user-serviceable
  • Verify encoder polarity before first power-up (reverse connection will damage feedback circuit)
  • Operate ambient temperature between 0°C and +45°C for full torque; derate 1% per °C above 45°C
  • Brake release time is 80 ms — account for this in safety calculations
