Technical Features:

  • Sinusoidal Commutation for smooth torque delivery
  • High Torque-to-Inertia Ratio for fast dynamic response
  • Integrated PTC Thermistor for winding temperature monitoring
  • Cogging Torque: Less than 1% of rated torque
  • Dynamic Braking capability via drive regeneration

Structural Characteristics:

  • Stator: Laminated silicon steel with copper windings
  • RotorSurface-Mounted NdFeB Permanent Magnets
  • ShaftStainless Steel, Hardened, 19 mm Diameter with Keyway
  • HousingAluminum Alloy with Anodized Finish
  • Bearing: Double-Sealed Ball Bearings, Lifetime Lubricated
  • Brake DiscSpring-Loaded, Electrically Released at 24 VDC

Working Principle:
Three-phase brushless DC motor with electronic commutation. The servo drive generates sinusoidal currents in the stator windings synchronized with rotor position (from encoder) to produce continuous rotary torque. Commutation angle is continuously adjusted for optimal torque production.

Advantages:

  • High dynamic response with low rotor inertia
  • Holding brake prevents load drop on power loss
  • Robust construction rated for continuous industrial operation
  • Wide constant-torque speed range up to rated speed

Applicable Industries: CNC machine tools, packaging machinery, printing presses, material handling systems, textile machinery, robotics joint actuators

Installation Requirements:

  • Mount via 4× M6 mounting holes on NEMA 34 flange pattern
  • Ensure shaft coupling alignment within 0.05 mm TIR
  • Connect brake power separately with 24 VDC supply, 300 mA hold current
  • Ground motor housing to chassis ground

Usage Notes:

  • Brake release time: ~20 ms — account for this delay in vertical axis motion profiles
  • Do not back-drive motor at speeds exceeding rated maximum
  • Monitor winding temperature via PTC sensor; derate if exceeding 130°C
