Product Overview:
The B-402-B-A3 is a brushless rotary resolver designed for harsh industrial environments where optical encoders cannot survive. It provides absolute position feedback at every power-on cycle with no battery backup required.

Working Principle:
The resolver operates on electromagnetic induction. A rotating rotor with a wound winding is excited by a high-frequency AC signal on the stator. The rotor winding induces Sin θ and Cos θ voltages proportional to the shaft angle. These analog signals are decoded by the servo drive’s resolver-to-digital converter (RDC) to produce absolute position.
