Functional Characteristics:
-
Industry-leading torque density with low harmonic distortion
-
Exceptionally low cogging for smooth low-speed performance
-
Plug-and-play motor recognition with AKD series drives
-
Multiple sealing and shaft options for harsh environments
Application Scenarios:
-
Pick-and-place robots
-
Semiconductor wafer handling
-
Packaging machines
-
Medical automation
-
General-purpose indexing tables
Structural Features:
-
Stator with high-grade laminated steel, epoxy-coated windings
-
Rotor with rare-earth permanent magnets (Neodymium)
-
Stainless or black-anodized aluminum housing
-
Integrated feedback device mounted rearward
Working Principle:
A permanent-magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) where the drive supplies sinusoidal currents phased via rotor position feedback (encoder/resolver), generating a rotating magnetic field that interacts with the rotor magnets to produce precise torque and speed.
Installation Requirements:
-
Align coupling/hub within specified concentricity tolerance
-
Ground motor frame securely
-
Avoid excessive radial/thrust loads beyond catalog limits
Usage Precautions:
-
Do not operate beyond maximum bus voltage (640 VDC)
-
Ensure feedback cable shielding is properly terminated
-
Allow thermal soak time; winding rise rated at 100 °C over 40 °C ambient
