Kollmorgen AKM42G-ACCNDB00
Product Introduction:
The AKM42G is a medium-frame synchronous servo motor from Kollmorgen’s AKM series, optimized for high torque density and dynamic response. Winding “G” is a 240 V class winding. This specific suffix (ACCNDB00) typically indicates: Standard AKM4 flange, G winding, C—feedback (SFD Smart Feedback Device or incremental encoder depending on exact code), N—keyed shaft with standard seal, D—no holding brake (or brake omitted), B00—standard paint/connector (usually double M23 SpeedTec connectors, right-angle rotatable).

Construction & Principle:
Permanent magnet rotor with rare-earth magnets; stator three-phase windings driven by sinusoidal PWM from the servo drive. Feedback device (SFD or encoder) provides commutation and position info to the drive for field-oriented control (FOC).
Mounting Notes: Flange-mount with 4×M6 through-holes; ensure proper grounding via PE terminal; motor must be coupled to drive sized for ≥4.8 A continuous / 12–30 A peak depending on selected AKD.
Applications: CNC axis drives, robotic joints, printing rollers, packaging form-fill-seal stations, semiconductor handlers.
