Kollmorgen AKM41H-ACCNR-00
Product Introduction:
The AKM41H-ACCNR-00 is a three-phase brushless permanent magnet synchronous servo motor belonging to the Kollmorgen AKM family. It is engineered for high dynamic response, high torque density and smooth rotation in industrial motion systems. The “41H” denotes size 84 mm flange, medium stack length, 120 VAC winding class. It is directly matched to AKD, S200/S300/S600/S700 drive platforms.

Robust resolver feedback for EMI-heavy environments
Working Principle:
A three-phase stator winding creates a rotating magnetic field. The permanent magnet rotor follows the field vector under closed-loop control from the drive. Resolver provides absolute analog position/speed feedback to the servo amplifier, which adjusts current via PWM to hold torque, speed or position setpoints.
Materials & Construction:
-
Laminated silicon-steel stator stack
-
Neodymium-iron-boron (NdFeB) permanent magnets on rotor
-
Aluminum housing with black epoxy finish
-
Sealed ball bearings (greased for life)
-
Resolver mounted on rear stator bore
Installation Requirements:
-
Align motor shaft with load coupling within 0.05 mm TIR
-
Use flexible coupling or belt; avoid direct rigid linkage
-
Ground motor frame to cabinet PE bus
-
Use shielded motor power/feedback cable, separated from mains
Precautions:
-
Do not exceed 100 °C winding temperature rise over 40 °C ambient
-
Never disconnect resolver while power is applied
-
Avoid mechanical shock above 50 g on shaft
-
Verify phase order before first energizing
