The AKM2G-23D-ACD2 is part of Kollmorgen’s second-generation AKM2G high-performance brushless servo motor family. It delivers higher torque density, lower cogging, and improved thermal performance compared to legacy AKM motors. Frame 23 = 58 mm square flange.

Working Principle:
A 3-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) driven by sinusoidal PWM from a compatible servo drive (AKD, S700). Rotor position is fed back via optical or magnetic encoder for closed-loop commutation.
