The AKM22E-ANS2R-02 is a small footprint, low-inertia permanent magnet AC servo motor from the AKM2 series. It targets light-load, high-speed, frequent start-stop automation such as electronics assembly, medical devices and lab automation. “22E” = size 22 frame, E stack; “ANS2R” = resolver feedback, no brake, smooth shaft, rotatable connector; “02” = standard factory option set.

Working Principle:
Standard three-phase PMSM with resolver commutation. Low inertia allows bandwidth >2 kHz on AKD current loop.
Materials & Construction:
  • Thin laminated stator, small NdFeB rotor disc

  • Rear-mounted resolver, no fan
Installation Requirements:
  • Mount on 22 mm frame bracket or NEMA 17/23 adapter
  • Shaft coupling max radial load < 10 N
  • Keep away from high-temperature sources (>60 °C ambient derates output)
Precautions:
  • Do not run at 8000 RPM continuously under load without drive thermal model
  • Resolver cable must be twisted and shielded
  • No pressure washing (IP54 only)
