Working Principle
Single-phase AC mains rectified to DC bus voltage inside drive power stage; high-speed digital signal processor receives EtherCAT real-time motion command, executes microsecond-level current loop calculation to output high-frequency PWM signal driving IGBT module, generating three-phase sinusoidal low-amplitude drive current for small frame AKM servo motor. Encoder feedback signal transmits rotor position to DSP for closed-loop real-time correction; dual-channel STO hardware circuit directly cuts power stage output upon safety trigger signal without software intervention. Analog I/O circuit realizes external analog torque/speed command reception and motor state signal feedback output.
Applicable Industries
Electronic component testing equipment, desktop precision dispensing machines, small PCB drilling automation axes, lab medical miniature positioning platforms, consumer electronics assembly micro gantry axes, textile embroidery small servo axes
Installation Requirements
- Mount vertically on 35 mm DIN rail; top heat dissipation clearance ≥ 50 mm, bottom clearance ≥ 40 mm
- Separate high-power motor wiring and low-signal EtherCAT/encoder wiring routing to avoid electromagnetic interference
- Drive protective earth terminal connected to cabinet grounding bus with minimum 1.5 mm² copper wire
- Operating ambient temperature range: -10°C ~ +40°C; temperature above 40°C derate output power 4% per Kelvin temperature rise
- Avoid installation position adjacent to high-frequency electromagnetic radiation components
Usage Precautions
- Do not connect three-phase 380 VAC power to single-phase input terminal; irreversible power module burnout occurs
- Verify dual-channel STO safety circuit wiring continuity before equipment formal production operation
- Miniature screw terminals tightening torque must follow official specification; loose terminals cause signal loss or overheating
- Storage spare drive must maintain dry environment, avoid condensation damage to miniature surface mount circuit board
- Execute full auto-tuning after replacing matched servo motor to eliminate positioning oscillation and overcurrent alarm
